Just heard from my editor. What a sweetheart...she thought she should apologize to me for being so short in another e-mail, after I'd answered a question she'd asked! Gee, after all the trouble I put her to, and she's apologizing to me?? So I sent an apology right back at her.
I was so grateful not to be lectured for being such a doofus. She said that it was ok, we caught it in time, and the needed changes can be made. No worries.
Yours truly heaved a huge sigh of relief.
